Russia simplifies the procedure for obtaining visas for German participants of youth exchanges. Within the framework of the Year of Russian-German youth exchanges, the Russian side decided to halve the size of the service charges imposed on German youth exchange participants at registration of visas in the visa centers. This agreement was reached in accordance with the decision of the XII session of the Russian-German Council in the field of youth cooperation.
The basis for the fifty percent discount will be the letter of the «German-Russian youth exchange» Fund ( «Stiftung Deutsch-Russischer Jugendaustausch» GmbH). Russian participants in youth exchanges with German while getting visa in the visa centers in Russia will also pay only half of the service charge. This decision was taken by Germany in September 2016. To registrate the discount it is necessary to obtain the relevant certificate of the Russian Coordination Office for youth exchanges with Germany, which functions are performed by subordinated institution of Rosmolodezh — «International Youth Center.»
