Training seminar «50/50» for professionals working with youth from state authorities of the Russian Federation together with representatives of youth public organizations.
The seminar has been held since 2006.
Over 10 years of existence, it has been organized 10 training seminars in various regions of the Russian Federation. Being based on the European Youth Centres the seminars have also been taken place in Strasbourg and Budapest. Over 300 representatives of governmental and non-governmental sectors from 52 regions of Russia have attended the seminar.
The training seminar «50/50» is organized by the National Council of Youth and Children’s Associations of Russia together with the Youth Council of Europe departments and public authorities. It is an integral part of the action plan for the implementation of the Framework programme cooperation between the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation and the Council of Europe in the field of youth policy.
The purpose of the project – to develop and strengthen non-governmental youth organizations, to expand youth policy, with a particular emphasis on the interaction of government and non-government sectors, working with young people in the Russian Federation.
An equal number of representatives from government and non-government youth policy sphere sectors takes part in the seminar. The participants from the non-governmental sector are the representatives of non-governmental youth organizations; from the government sector there are federal officials, civil servants of the Russian Federation and municipal employees, who connected with issues relating to youth work and / or youth policy.
The Training-seminar’s programme «50/50» is based on the principles and practices of non-formal education and is developed be means of the approach based on a student, with the possibility of taking into account the needs, concerns and experience of participants.
