Public Diplomatic Community

The PDC has been held in Moscow since 2009.

The main objective: to raise the level of involvement of the socially-oriented scientific production Associations of Russia and the CIS countries, Baltic states, Caucasus, including compatriots living abroad and member states of the Council of Europe in international activities by creating a team of representatives of  SPAs, united by common ideas and approaches to the development of public diplomacy and international youth cooperation.

Target audience: representatives and activists of youth organizations in Russia, Baltics, Caucasus, member states of the Council of Europe, including compatriots living abroad and young journalists who are engaged in the development of international youth cooperation and public diplomacy.

Over the course of the PDC more than 300 young people have been trained. Today they comprise the staff of active representatives of public organizations in Russia, Baltics, Caucasus and other member states. They boast the knowledge and skills of international communication and implementation of international projects. The project is a part of the Russian Framework programme cooperation together with the Council of Europe in the field of youth policy in the period from 2014 to 2018. Today the PDC  conducts educational seminars, expert meetings and plans to implement the project in other regions of Russia
