The Russian-Kazakhstan Youth Forum passed in Moscow for the first time

The Russian-Kazakhstan Youth Forum completed its work in Moscow. Its main objectives were the development of cooperation between representatives of youth public organizations and students of Russia and Kazakhstan, creation of conditions for the formation of bilateral projects and programs, as well as maintaining and strengthening the friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding among people, the creation of educational space for increasing youth participation, intercultural dialogue and humanitarian cooperation between Russian and Kazakhstan youth.

At the opening ceremony, which was held in the hotel complex «Izmailovo», welcomed guests Advisor to the Deputy Director of the Department of State policy in the sphere of education of children and youth of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation — Ivan Tarakanov. He pointed out the urgency of the meeting, stressing: «I consider it is very important that we made a bilateral forum with Kazakhstan. We are confident that everything will be at a very high level and, on the other hand, we will try to make it to become a tradition and an annual event!”

A full program that includes panel discussions and seminars, presentations in areas of Russia and Kazakhstan cooperation in the field of youth policy, a discussion platform «Russia and Kazakhstan in the Global World», as well as work in three sections: «Youth on the economy — youth for the economy», «The World in the hands of young people», «To build a future, keeping traditions» were organized for the forum participants.

«The Forum was so rich and interesting for me. The experts shared their valuable advices and experience. I believe that we need to continue and develop the cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan to form strong relationships, to work on the main areas that have been affected, during the forum, and to embody the ideas that was born here in your city or region. Changes depend on us! «- said Maria Starostina, a member of the Youth Council under the head of administration of Labytnangi.
40 representatives from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan at the age from 18 to 35: representatives of youth and student organizations, public figures involved in the development of international youth cooperation and public diplomacy attended the event.

«The Forum has become a productive platform for building a bridge between the Russian and Kazakh youth. Now we are ready for constructive dialogue! I am confident that our joint decisions determine the course of cooperation for decades to come!»- shared his impressions Chairperson of the Association of Kazakh students in Russia — Baymagulov Mukhtar.

For the chairperson of Kazakhstan’s fraternities in the Ural Federal University — Leila Kozhakovoy forum became a platform to strengthen bilateral ties between Russia and Kazakhstan.

«At this meeting, I gained new experiences, new friends and new knowledges. Through the Forum I got the opportunity to promote own projects», — she said.

So, Olga Nikolaeva, the representative of the Research Center «Youth» notes — «The Forum gave me a unique opportunity to listen to experts in the field of youth policy from different regions of Russia, and, of course, our Kazakh counterparts! We were able to share our experience, and, I am sure, I can apply these knowledges in my practice. We will continue to collaborate with colleagues, which we were fortunate to meet at the event! «
Yevgeny Bychkov, a representative of the All-Russian Public Movement «Victory Volunteers» considers that «Russian-Kazakhstan Youth Forum is a great platform to find forms of cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as answers to questions of concern to both countries.»

We should remind that the Association of NGOs «National Youth Council of Russia» with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs organized the forum. The Forum passed in the capital of Russia from 14 to 17 November 2016.
