Join #OurSustainableFuture world youth action campaign to promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)!
The largest event in the field of international youth cooperation — the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students took place in October 2017 in Sochi. It brought together 25,000 participants and 5,000 volunteers from over 180 countries of the world. All of them returned home not only with vivid memories and pleasant emotions, but also with a desire to continue being socially active, bringing to the masses the ideas and values of the Festival movement.
We are convinced that the Festival in Sochi has once again proved that solving global problems requires joint efforts of the world community, and the youth is its driving force. We invite everyone who shares this opinion to join #OurSustainableFuture action campaign!
The action campaign starts today and its key goal is to increase youth awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as to engage young people in activities on its implementation.
To take part in the campaign, you need to make some simple steps:
— Publish a photo or video message in social networks (Facebook, Instagram) about the importance of SDGs using #OurSustainableFuture and #WeAreTheFuture hashtags;
— Organize an event in your city dedicated to the SDGs and tell about it in a social media post using the hashtags.
Organized by the Foundation for the Promotion of the International Cooperation Development with the support of the National Youth Council of Russia. The action is realized with the use of the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
