German Youth was acquainted with Russian culture

From 17 to 20 of October Russian-German youth festival of Russian culture took place on the territory of the Esenin RSU.
It was held in the framework of the action plan of the Russian-German youth exchanges year and has become an important platform for discussion of issues of Russian-German youth cooperation, issues of popularization of Russian culture and the building of closer relations between the youth of Russia and Germany.
An important place in the program of the Festival has taken the theme of the formation of the correct attitude, not only of Russian but also of foreign young people to the Russian language, Russian culture and history.
Rich educational and extracurricular program was prepared for the participants: diverse panel discussions, master classes for Russian dance, singing and acting, visiting the Ryazan Kremlin and Esenin State Museum, a trip to the monastery of St. John the Theologian, to the complex «In a certain kingdom» and the tea ceremony in the Russian style.
At the end of the Festival, there was a presentation of the final projects. The Deputy Chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia Luckyana Suvorova noted: «all the ideas, proposed by the participants, can be realized in the medium term, in the framework of the preparation and holding of the World Festival of Youth and Students in 2017 in Sochi».
The representatives of regional and national youth organizations, young journalists, cultural figures, international affairs, students, representatives of universities and national associations from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Omsk, Ryazan, Yekaterinburg, Yoshkar-Ola, Regensburg, Hannover, Aachen and other cities of Russia and Germany were the participants of the Festival.
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the National Youth Council of Russia, the Ministry of Youth Policy, Physical Culture and Sports of the Ryazan region and of Gorky Ryazan regional universal library supported the event.
