Russian-Armenian youth forum

For the first time the forum was held on February 12-14th, 2015, Yerevan, Armenia.

Target audience: representatives of youth from Armenia and Russia, representatives of state institutions and youth movements. The number of participants — 150 people.

The Forum is an educational space to increase youth participation, intercultural dialogue and humanitarian cooperation of the youth of Armenia and Russia, as well as to contribute to the development of youth policy and youth work, to create a network of Armenian and Russian youth organizations.

During the forum the following thematic sections were proposed to consider:

  • prospects of economic cooperation;
  • the creation and development of joint small and medium-sized enterprises in the Eurasian economic space;
  • public diplomacy and youth parliamentarism;
  • preservation of historical and cultural heritage;
  • intercultural dialogue as a means of deepening the cooperation of the youth (in the framework of the 70th anniversary devoted to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War),
  • mechanisms of cooperation of the state and youth organizations and exchange of experience.
