The meeting of the Gorchakov Fund Friends Club opened on December 13 in Moscow. The event was aimed at discussing the key issues in the field of foreign policy of the Russian Federation and international cooperation. The meeting included presentations of graduates of the research and educational programs of the Gorchakov Fund for Public Diplomacy Support.
Chairperson of the National Council, the head of the Russian National Preparatory Committee of WFYS — Grigory Petushkov told club members about the key milestones of the festival movement and contemporary challenges that youth face today.
Gorchakov Club was established in 2013. The most active young participants of the scientific and educational programs are invited to join it. The club gathered for their annual meeting for the fourth time in 2016. For three days, participants from over 15 countries will exchange views with colleagues from other countries, will listen to first hand opinions and news about the situation in neighboring countries and will discuss topical issues of contemporary international relations, as well as offer its ambitious projects in the field of public diplomacy.
Gorchakov Club brings together experts of international relations, political scientists, public figures, diplomats and politicians from more than 25 countries.
