On May 16, 2018, an action #OurSustainableFuture was launched on the initiative of the Foundation for the Promotion of the International Cooperation Development and with the support of the National Youth Council of Russia. The aim of the action were to raise youth awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals and to involve young people in their implementation activities. In order to support the project, it was necessary to take some simple steps: to publish a photo or video message about the importance of the SDGs in social networks using #OurSustainableFuture and #WeAreTheFuture hashtags, or to organize an event devoted to the SDGs in its city and to tell about it in the publication. Also, in order to promote the campaign, a webinar «The Role of Youth in the Sustainable Development Goals Implementing» was organized jointly with the UN Information Center in Moscow.
