Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Anna graduated from the Faculty of World Politics at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Since her first year Anna has been actively involved in student activities: she won a training grant in Spain, during which she analyzed the implementation of the smart city project in the Spanish city of Paterna, and successfully participated in the UN Model: she managed to become an Ambassador of the London Model UN and organizer of the Geneva Model UN, combining two positions – President of the Security Council and Deputy Secretary General for the press.
According to Anna, gender inequality remains one of the most significant problems in today’s society. Despite progress in some regions, discriminatory laws still exist, women are underrepresented in the political sphere, and the issue of physical and sexual violence committed against women and underage girls is also acute.
Therefore, Anna intends to do her best to implement SDG №5 and is already implementing the «Parts of Space» project, which interviews women who have managed to build a career in various fields – creative and scientific, and sometimes combining several professions at once.
