– Taking a longer view, if you picture the world you want in 25 years, what things would you most want to see?

– I sincerely believe that in a quarter of a century the global community will be more guided by the principles of sustainable development in all spheres of life. I am convinced that humanity will definitely continue to develop the branch of international environmental law and transform production and consumption, following the principles of common but differentiated responsibility.

– What would you advise the UN Secretary-General to do to address the global challenges?

– In the field of combating climate change, I would like to call on the Secretary-General and leaders of the UN member states to deepen the exchange and early integration of already existing scientific and technical developments that can reduce the anthropogenic factor of influence on the environment. Humanity already has most of the tools that can make our society more sustainable and “green”.
