The forum, that will run until August 24, involves 150 participants from 30 countries and will feature 75 reports, eight theater performances and six master classes, the event\u2019s organizers told TASS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#171;The sixth International Moscow Festival of University and Youth Theaters, that will be held as part of the 12th World Congress of the International University Theatre Association (AITU-IUTA), will run from August 20 to 24,&#187; the source said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#171;Russia has never seen any massive events of this kind,&#187; she said. &#171;This wide variety of youth theater projects and schools can be observed for the first time: the forum\u2019s program involves 150 participants from 30 countries and will feather 75 reports, eight performances and six master classes,&#187; the source noted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Speaking about the event\u2019s background, she reiterated that the first International Moscow Festival of University and Youth Theaters took place in 1990 at the initiative of the director of the Moscow State University\u2019s student theater &#171;Most,&#187; Irina Bolshakova. In 2009, &#171;Most&#187; joined the International University Theater Association (AITU-IUTA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In 2016, the AITU-IUTA general assembly in Colombia chose Moscow as the place of holding the 12th World Congress of the International University Theater Association (AITU-IUTA). This forum earlier involved Belgium, Canada, the UK, Poland, Greece and other countries,&#187; the source said, adding that &#171;the Congress in Moscow is being held with the use of the Russian president\u2019s grant for the development of civil society and the grant \u2018Open-Air Stage\u2019 of the Moscow City Culture Department.&#187;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Presenting the forum\u2019s program, the organization committee member reported that the bill includes eight performances that fall into three categories of the modern performing art: non-verbal, documentary and classical performances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The non-verbal performances include &#171;Triptych&#187; (the theater Karman, Kemerovo), &#171;Stop, bypasser&#187; (Inspire Russian Youth Theater, Ogre, Latvia) and &#171;Cafe&#187; (Maneken, Chelyabinsk). The documentary performances: &#171;Four Lyubas. Thaw&#187; (Most, Moscow) and &#171;The man who crossed the river&#187; (Alma Alter, Sofia).
