On August 27-31, 2018 Moscow will host BRICS International School, organized by the Russian National Committee on BRICS Research together with the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.<\/p>\n

\u00abBRICS International School\u00bb is a unique scientific and educational program for training young specialists in the field of studying BRICS political, economic and humanitarian issues and specific areas of the five countries interaction.<\/p>\n

Participants of BRICS International School will be offered a specially prepared comprehensive course of lectures from the leading Russian and international experts on the issues related to BRICS countries cooperation, to broaden professional horizons, to develop communicative skills, to study features of BRICS countries interaction, their position on the global arena, prospects of institutionalization, future of BRICS cooperation.<\/p>\n

The purpose of BRICS International School \u2013 team-building of young experts-BRICSologiests for further development of youth track cooperation within BRICS and further careers.<\/p>\n

BRICS International School is aimed at:

\n\uf0be Organizing discussions and analytical \u00abbrain storms\u00bb on BRICS issues.
\n\uf0be Accumulating intellectual potential of young experts and introducing new expertise.
\n\uf0be Developing professional community of young experts-BRICSologiests.
\n\uf0be Preparing a comprehensive educational and methodical materials for universities and qualification courses.<\/p>\n

BRICS International School curriculum indicates: lectures, master classes, presentations etc.<\/p>\n

BRICS International School working languages \u2013 Russian, English (some lectures might be in English).
\nBRICS International School mentors are leading Russian and international experts, representatives of government and non-government organizations, ministries and agencies, research institutions with considerable experience in studying BRICS issues.<\/p>\n

On graduation of BRICS International School participants will be issued certificates of participation. On the basis of lectures a comprehensive educational and methodical materials for young experts-BRICSologiests with the subsequent distribution to the leading Russian universities and other interested organizations will be published.<\/p>\n

BRICS International School invites up to 35 diplomats, practitioners, young scientists, journalists, students and graduate students from Russia, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, the CIS countries, Europe and Asia aged from 18 up to 35 years.<\/p>\n

Conditions of participation
\nParticipation in the BRICS International School is determined on a competitive basis.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the partners\u2019 support participation in BRICS International School is tuition-free. Organizers provide accommodation and local hospitality for foreign and nonresident participants. Transportation cost shall be borne by the sending parties.<\/p>\n

Participants will be provided with a course of lectures, analytical materials, cultural program, accommodation in comfortable housing (for foreign participants), 3-time meals (buffet), transfer.

Conditions of application
\nTo join BRICS International School you should submit the following package of documents:
\n\uf0be Video summary* (CV) in English (1-3 min) answering to the question: \u00abWhy do you want to become the participant of \u00abBRICS International School\u00bb?\u00bb in the Mpeg4 format**;
\n\uf0be Written summary*(CV) (in English);
\n\uf0be Letter of recommendation from the head of the organization \/ research supervisor (in Russian or English) \u2013 is welcomed.

\n** Sending video, you agree to use your personal data and give permission to the organizers to use this video in the \u00abBRICS International School\u00bb materials<\/p>\n

The written curriculum vitae of the candidate has to include the following information:

\n\uf0be Date of birth;
\n\uf0be Education (with the name of University and year of graduation);
\n\uf0be Current position and place of work\/study;
\n\uf0be The previous experience (if any);
\n\uf0be Sphere of scientific interests;
\n\uf0be List of conferences (if any);
\n\uf0be List of publications (if any);
\n\uf0be Extent of foreign language skills***;
\n\uf0be Contact information (phone, e-mail);
\n\uf0be Portrait photo (for the website in case of participation in BRICS International School).

Organizers can invite the candidate for an interview (personally or by phone).<\/p>\n
